Welcome to the Hamilton Township
Comprehensive Plan Website!

In early 2019, The Warren County Regional Planning Commission began a planning effort for Hamilton Township, a process that will consist of many public meetings and require ample public input over the next year. Check this website regularly for upcoming meetings, and newly added draft documents.

What is the Hamilton Township Comprehensive Plan?
The Plan will provide a vision of what Hamilton Township can be in the future for all aspects ranging from transportation to housing choices and from recreational amenities to rural preservation. The Plan is an important document regarding growth, development, and change. It establishes government policy to help guide public and private activities as they relate to land use and resource utilization. The Plan is the basis for land development regulations and decisions (rezoning, conditional use permits), capital improvements (parks, sanitary sewer, fire station), transportation, environmental and agricultural resource protection initiatives. The Plan will account for the  unique conditions and needs of Hamilton Township.

How to Participate?
Residents will be asked to participate in numerous ways throughout the planning process. Resident participation is crucial because the Plan should directly reflect the opinions, values, and desires of the residents and help the Township act to make those a reality.
